COVID-19 Queue Safety

COVID-19 has forced retailers to rethink customer safety...

With social distancing guidelines in effect across the country many retailers have had to pivot to make checkout safer. One popular trend that has emerged is linking multiple merchandising displays together to create a "checkout corral".  You might have seen something similar to this at TJ Maxx and Michael's Craft Stores pre-COVID, but we are starting to see this solution implemented in grocery stores and supermarkets. It's easy to see why - it accomplishes two goals: allows customers to spread out more and it provides a new opportunity to merchandise product.

For this solution to work best displays need to be mobile, low profile and able to merchandise a variety of product. Our Wingmate Wood Racks are especially useful for this function as we have two low profile versions that offer a premium merchandising solution with branding options. You can link them together for forming a queuing corral or use them individually around your store.
