The Injection Molding Supervisor (3rd Shift) oversees the daily operations of the injection molding department. This position is responsible for supervising team members, ensuring quality control, managing setups and breakdowns, maintaining safety, and meeting production requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate team activities within the Injection Molding Department
  • Monitor machine performance and ensure output meets quality and production specifications
  • Approve and track Paid Time Off (PTO) for direct reports
  • Maintain accurate records within the MRP system (inventory, labor, materials)
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure department-wide compliance
  • Train team members and ensure adherence to production standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department
  • Troubleshoot and process plastic injection molding machines

Required Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 3+ years in plastic injection molding (Required)
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing environment (Required)

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and frequently bending, squatting, and standing throughout shift
  • Comfortable working in a 90% manufacturing / 10% office environment
