We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at our manufacturing and logistics facilities. This role manages HR operations for a large full-time and temporary workforce and plays a key role in employee relations, safety and OSHA compliance, talent acquisition, and HR technology.

Responsibilities
- Travel up to 10% to support remote facility needs, typically consisting of two business days per month to plant locations within driving distance (e.g., Owensville, MO). Reliable transportation required
- Lead day-to-day HR operations across a workforce of 300+ employees and a substantial temp labor force
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety requirements across all operations
- Drive recruitment and workforce planning initiatives to meet evolving business needs
- Serve as a trusted partner to management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational development
- Administer and continuously improve performance management and employee development processes
- Oversee compliance with federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO)
- Implement and optimize an HRIS system that is fully integrated with payroll and other HR functions
- Maintain accurate HR and safety reporting, metrics, and analytics
- Manage relationships with staffing partners to ensure efficient onboarding and oversight of temporary staff
- Champion company values and initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations
- Experience implementing or managing a fully integrated HRIS/payroll system (e.g., Paylocity, Paychex, ADP, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in managing employee relations and high-volume staffing needs
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
